The Anaheim Car Wash

I've been to this car wash plenty of times with no issues, but this last visit completely changed that -- and not in a good way. I wanted to do something nice for my girlfriend, so I took her car in for a wash. Simple enough, right? Wrong. They rushed through the job like they were trying to beat a world record. Water spots were still all over the hood, and somehow the gear shifter ended up with scratches on both sides. To top it off, there was a fresh dent on the door frame near the window. None of that was there before. When we called the next day to report it, they told us we had to come in at a specific time to speak to the manager -- no flexibility, no apology, just attitude. When we did finally get in, the manager immediately tried to flip the blame on us, suggesting maybe someone tried to break in because we "left a wallet out." Seriously? The car was in YOUR hands. And did he check the cameras like he said he would? Doubt it. Bottom line: this place used to be solid, but now it feels like a scam wrapped in soap suds. They don't care about you, your car, or taking responsibility when they mess up. Save yourself the stress and go literally anywhere else.
