Lincoln Car Wash & Detail

NOT A $300 DETAIL JOB They did a good job on my car when I did a simple car wash (I had met friends there) , so I decided to purchase the complete detail since they were having a deal on it. It is a $300 detail job so yeah I had expectations. And sadly I was disappointed. The short version, not a lot of care or much respect in the work. First off, They had left all the carpets in the back cargo (trunk) in a pile. A total mess. And the back of the back seat had not been cleaned. There was a big streak (that wiped right off when he sprayed it-they had just shoved everything back there and not even cleaned the area. In fact they had shoved my case of canned drinks back there and the cardboard was all warped by the water) I had them place the carpets back (after some lame excuse as to why it had not been done in the first place) and underneath was a big PUDDLE OF BROWN WATER! AND... they had not wiped down or washed the cargo area of my SUV at all. then I had to spend 30 maybe 40 minutes walking around the car pointing out missed or poorly executed areas. There were water stains on the windows, smudge marks here and there. Also there were a couple of places where there were a bit of bird dropping that had been missed. Some pollen that hadn't come off (but when I scratched at it with my nail it came right off) and dust in the vent. Water spots and missed wipe down areas. They had not applied the plastic restoration to all the parts. I had to point several out to which they did attend. Also they had not put the seat covers back on. They were thrown in the pile with the rest, in the back, all mixed up with the carpets which in spite of being moist and wet still had gritty stuff when I touched them. I mean please remember they charge $300 for this service. You'd think they would try to give it back presentable. Overall it was ok. But I have had $130 service that was as good. I only thought of taking photos after I got back, things that I had missed when I was there., I wish I had a picture of the puddle left in my back cargo area. AND they didn't clean the engine. (Apparently that is not included) usually a detail includes steam clean the engine. The manager seemed nice enough. I had called ahead to make sure they had time to do a good job I would've certainly come on a different day if they were too busy. Anyway, all in all an OK job, but not at that price point.
