Critical Review: Avoid This Installer at All Costs I had my vehicle customized by this individual, and it was an outright disaster. He took full advantage of my lack of knowledge about car audio systems, selling me the cheapest subwoofer, amp, and Walmart-grade speakers, all while grossly overcharging me. It was clear he was desperate for money, but that doesn't excuse the corner-cutting and outright shady practices he used. His so-called "customization" was a joke. The equipment he installed was of the lowest quality, and the wiring was beyond incompetent. He failed to ground the system properly, which led to a small fire in my vehicle--an inexcusable and dangerous oversight. My amp wasn't even mounted; it was just left unsecured. His work was sloppy, careless, and unprofessional. It's been a couple of years since this happened, but I've been upset with him ever since because he outright cheated me. I trusted him to guide me through the process, but instead, he saw an opportunity to exploit my lack of knowledge. If you decide to do business with this person--which I highly discourage--make sure to get an invoice and bring your own high-quality speakers (Pioneer or another reputable brand). Do not trust his recommendations, as his "custom" speakers are the cheapest materials available. I've had to completely redo my audio system with a top-notch installation company, and I wish I'd done more research before dealing with this individual. He's a fast-talking hustler who cares more about making a quick buck than delivering quality work. Buyer beware: if someone seems shady, they probably are--and this guy is the epitome of shady. Learn from my mistake and stay far away.
