Elite Auto Care - Ceramic Coatings, Paint Protection Film, & Window Tinting Customer Review
Overall, it was a good experience. As most people do, I looked around for different shops that do PPF and ceramic coating, looking for the best deal and for people who care about their work and my vehicle. After talking with Trey for a while I decided I wanted to do the full body package and even added Kavaca IR, a brow, and an undercoating since I wanted maximum protection. It would cost a decent amount of money for that but it turned out to be less than what I expected. Elite Auto Care had the best deal when I factored in the 12-year warranty, and extra items I wanted added, and they have amazing reviews. When I initially got a quote from Trey he manually input the pieces I would need for my car even though as an elite dealer they should have access to the software that takes all the pieces and automatically finds the best layout to get the best cuts and reduces wasted PPF. Trey got in touch with me after this review to explain that the Kavaca Smart Cuts software is new and the cuts aren't accurate and that is why they don't use it. Elite Auto Care was still the best deal I could find. I talked with Trey and his fiance Kiara a few times after the quote, working out details and appointment dates. Trey and Kiara seemed like genuine people and Trey seemed to really care about his customers as he worked with me many times outside of working hours and helped me with my wing riser installation, and that meant a lot to me as the customer. He seemed excited to show me different products and would take me into the shop to show me different vehicles and the products that were being installed on them. Whenever I had a question about a product or process for installation he never seemed to be holding back and gave me honest answers even if it meant less money for them. So, I decided to bring the car in. When I dropped off the vehicle Trey said he would keep me updated throughout the process and even send me videos of the team working on my car but all I got was one day he sent a video of him walking from the rear to the front of the car and a couple of pictures, but after I got the car back they sent me professionally taken photos of the car after installation and it looked great. When I went to get the car back Trey was there to show me the car and walked me through the different parts that were covered. I noticed two nearly identical scratches that had been touched up on either side of the rear bumper as if someone backed into something. He assured me it was already there and so far things had gone well so I had no reason to doubt him. Two of my wheels had scratches on them as well (Likely from potholes) and he showed me pre-inspection photos of the wheel scratches. I get it though, sometimes stuff goes unnoticed. The people who do paint touch-ups did what they could to cover the scratches, and the car looked great. The PPF was nearly impossible to see even when looking for it. Their work was meticulous and precise. I wanted to get wing risers installed during the process so I didn't need to risk messing up the PPF but I wasn't able to get them in time. When I needed to bring the car back in for inspection to make sure the PPF was sealed tight, Trey said they would install the risers for me so I brought them in and they went out of their way to install them for me. After I got the vehicle back from the inspection I noticed that my hatch had loose pieces bouncing around behind the panel likely from the riser installation and Trey immediately offered to walk me through it or bring it in on a Saturday to get it fixed which was awesome. Overall the experience was good, the PPF was beautiful, and the way Trey and Kiara were always willing to work with me and around my schedule even after I paid them for the installation, it says a lot about the kind of people they are.
