I booked an appointment through the Google maps feature about a week out and was immediately contacted by the business via text and asked to give a $50 deposit to a personal Venmo account. I checked the business reviews for complaints and found no one warning about a deposit, so I sent in the deposit. When I arrived for my appointment it was a residential address with no signage and a locked gate and "beware of dog" sign. I called and texted the business and got no response (I opted not to open the gate or enter the property). I gave up after waiting about 15 minutes outside the location. Update: After posting this review they reached out and let me know there was a communication breakdown following a personal tragedy for the business owner, and provided a refund of my deposit.
