The Clean Machine

STAY AWAY!! I wish I read these reviews before taking my car to The Clean Machine. I would give zero stars if I could. OWNER LARRY shows a pattern of not taking responsibility for the damage his employees inflicts on his customers cars! Brought my brand new Chevrolet Traverse in for oil change on Feb 16. Got the car in September 2024. Everything was fine until Feb 24 when I went to leave for work and a warning light came on and said LOW OIL PRESSURE. I called Chevy and explained that I just had my oil changed. They said bring it in. I thought maybe the car didn't register the oil and needed to be reset (that happened before with my Jeep). After they checked it they said MY DRAIN PLUG IS MISSING! I WAS HEMORRHAGING OIL. On top of that my engine seized and I need a new one that will cost $8,000. Since I took it to another place for the oil change it's not covered under my warranty. I wanted to take it to Chevy but I couldn't get an appointment on the weekend and wasn't going to take a day off work for an oil change. Learned my lesson real quick. I call clean machine and they conveniently have no record of my oil change. I had a computerized printed receipt so I show them. After the manager spoke to the owner they refused to take responsibility!! They said there was too much time between the oil change and when the warning light came on. Yet this is a direct result of negligence by their mechanic! He didn't tighten the drain plug! I will be filing a law suit for the engine and attorney fees and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else!!
