Dr Detail Ceramic Coatings

Excellent ceramic coating application on my new truck. They were fast and very reasonably priced. I'm very pleased with my choice. Just wanted to come back and add a follow up to this review. I requested PPF on the hood and a ceramic coating. Was told I should do the ceramic first and could do PPF later due to inclement weather approaching (and the need to order the film). No complaints on the ceramic as stated above. However, I then find out, that is not the correct order of operations and that if you want PPF it must be done first before ceramic application. Also found out that they aren't a certified installer of PPF. (Probably answers why they wouldn't call me back with pricing for PPF). So I was rushed to get ceramic applied and now can't really get PPF, unless they buff off the ceramic. So be aware that if you want PPF, do your research first before just coming here. Secondary to this, other shops offer a warranty package based on price, Silver, Gold, etc. And on my wife's car (from another shop) the ceramic application was tied to the VIN to show up on a car fax and I have a warranty /ceramic certificate. We get an email from the shop each year on the annual inspection and maintenance application that is required to sustain the warranty. The car is registered with the ceramic manufacturer as well as the shop that installed it. All this was reviewed with us when we picked up the car after ceramic application. Here, there was only a receipt (no Adams Certificate, no registering anything, etc.) and zero discussion on annual maintenance inspection, warranty, etc. Looking on Adams 7 year warranty it only states that it covers the cost of the product. So unclear to me if I really have a 7 year application warranty. I'm not complaining about this as there is a pretty big cost difference between what I paid for my wife's car and what I paid here, and thus why I'm leaving it as 5 stars. I'm just saying understand what your getting as compared to some of the other installers that have a complete package. I still recommend their service and I'll bring it back for a touch up annually. With all that said for the price I paid I believe I got an equivalent product to what's on my wife's car for a lot less $$.
