Let me just start this review by stating that I do think he put a good effort into getting the job done, and I think he is quite proud of his work. But, this fellow also COMPLETELY disappeared and will not even respond to us regarding some of the issues we had with the initial job. For the price, I would have expected more. The quality I would say was okay (very much not great, just okay), but the professionalism (in terms of ensuring customer satisfaction and/or just communication in general) was lacking. Seems like a nice enough fellow, so naturally we (my entire company) were all surprised when he ghosted us. Some of us (particularly me) had found a few spots that were missed in the detailing - for example, the center cup holder in the back seat, which folds down as many do, appeared to have been cleaned and/or polished only while up in the upright, "folded in" position, so there's a line where the polish stops and the leather is two different shades of red. Anyways, I did do an inspection before he left, I should have thought to take the car into the sunlight for a better look (he detailed in our parking garage, which is open and has plentiful natural lighting but not direct sunlight). As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot that afternoon, I began to find spots that were missed, or smear marks (on dash and windows). That said, he is a professional, and should be trusted not to overlook details. If he needed the cars moved into the sunlight, we could have easily done that.. just say the word! We contacted him about the issues, and he couldn't make time to come back for something like a month? Which you'd think he'd want to make things right as soon as possible, but understood he's busy. My boss wanted to withhold payment until he returned, as he had concern that he would not truly come back and fix the spot issues if he had payment. He (JC) threw a fit, so I went ahead and authorized the payment despite my boss' explicit direction not to.. which unfortunately, not only burned all of us, but made me look extremely bad to our management. Long story short, sure enough, he never came back. Not only did he never come back, but he will not answer any calls or texts coming from our receptionist. We even tipped him $100 extra! Unfortunately my impression of him being a good guy turned out to be false optimism. I asked the receptionist to ask him what products he would be using on our vehicles (prior to the detailing, which seems like a very fair and basic question) so I could do maintenance myself and also be sure that the products he was using would not have any impact on the interior color of my car. I am told he would not give us product information. My red leather seats are now two tones of red... and I have no way to fix it, thanks! Also, I lost the original tone to my red leather interior. Whatever product he used changed the color of red that my leather is, which I honestly am very disappointed by (I preferred them their original tone of red). As an aside, I did not like the strong smell in the car after the cleaning. I don't know how to describe it... it wasn't fresh, or clean, or leathery, but it was quite STRONG... rip what was left of my new car smell. For a variety of reasons, I recommend taking your business elsewhere! At least if you have a nicer or newer vehicle - More than anything else, I am hoping another detailer can fix the leather on my seats. I do not think this is an honest person who is operating in good faith, be cautious!
