This Privacy Policy explains how TopDetailers ("TopDetailers," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use topdetailers.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Quote requests: when you request quotes, we collect your name, email and/or phone number, ZIP code, vehicle details, the service requested, any message, and which detailers you select.
- Business claims & correspondence: if you claim a listing or contact us, we collect the details you submit.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as IP-derived country and browser/user-agent where needed for security and operations.
- First-party journey analytics: an anonymous browser ID, a 30-minute session ID, pages viewed, first landing page, referring site, campaign labels such as source and medium, CTA and outbound-link clicks, product clicks, form starts, and successful conversion type.
- Journey events do not include your name, email, phone number, message, full IP address, or form contents. If a form succeeds, its internal record ID may be recorded so we can measure which visit produced it.
- We do not require accounts or passwords to use the Site.
Storage and retention
The anonymous browser ID is stored in your browser and expires after no more than 13 months of inactivity. Session and acquisition details are stored for the current visit. We retain event-level journey records for up to 13 months, then delete or aggregate them. Clearing this site's browser storage resets the anonymous identifier.
How we use information
- To route your quote request to the detailer(s) you selected or that match your request.
- To respond to inquiries and provide and improve the Site.
- To understand acquisition, page paths, CTA performance, product interest and conversions, and to produce aggregate, non-identifying analytics and pricing statistics.
How we share information
- With detailers: when you submit a quote request, we share your request details with the relevant detailer(s) so they can contact you. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices.
- Service providers: hosting, email delivery, and analytics vendors that process data on our behalf.
- Legal: where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Business information & reviews
Listings reflect publicly available business information and review-derived summaries. We do not republish individual third-party reviews verbatim. Business owners may claim a listing to correct or enhance it.
Your choices & rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@topdetailers.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
